Kube Networks Limited (“KubeNet”), a leading Glasgow-based ISP and provider of managed IT and infrastructure services, cloud, Internet, voice, cybersecurity and IOT solutions has acquired Aberdeen-based ISN Solutions Group (“ISN”), a well-established Managed Service Provider with over two decades of experience supporting clients in the UK energy & professional services sector.

Following a recent £2.25million investment from Maven Capital Partners, the acquisition represents a key milestone in KubeNet’s continued year on year growth – which includes organic growth and through a targeted acquisition strategy.

ISN will allow KubeNet to enhance its service capabilities and extend its geographic footprint across the UK. The deal aligns with KubeNet’s standards for service excellence, enabling the wider team to deliver more comprehensive and scalable IT and technology services to its growing client base.

ISN has built a strong reputation in the north-east of Scotland for delivering tailored, proactive IT support to SME and corporate clients across the energy and professional services sector. The acquisition advances KubeNet’s reach in a strategically important region and strengthens both businesses service offering in key markets.

ISN will continue to operate under its existing name for an initial transition period. Following this, the business will be fully integrated into KubeNet and operate under the KubeNet brand.

Fraser Ferguson, director at KubeNet, commented: “The acquisition of ISN is a natural fit for KubeNet, bringing together two businesses with a shared customer focus. Bringing ISN into the group boosts our capabilities and helps us support more businesses with the kind of reliable, high-quality service we’re known for.”

Scott Davidson, managing director at ISN, added: “KubeNet’s culture and values reflects our own and our combined ambition is to expand our position in the market and become the ‘go to’ cloud and managed service provider in the North-east of Scotland and beyond.”
