The accountancy and business advisory firm’s efforts have raised more than £12,000 for The Archie Foundation.

A cheque for £12,258.50 was presented to Lynne Brooks, The Archie Foundation’s partnership manager, at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital earlier this week.

Speaking about the donation, Lynne said: “It is fantastic to receive such a generous donation from the team at Azets. We are grateful to the Azets staff and their clients for choosing to support The Archie Foundation.

“Corporate supporters play a very important role both in providing financial support which enables us to deliver vital support and services to children and their families, and also in raising awareness of The Archie Foundation throughout North Scotland. Meeting members of the Azets team and telling them about the different ways we provide support to children and their families allowed us to show them just why every penny raised is so important to us.”

David Booth, regional managing partner of Azets in Aberdeen, said: “We are delighted with the amount we have been able to raise during our fundraising sprint and hopefully it will make a small difference to what is a truly incredible cause.

“The Archie Foundation does an outstanding job supporting the children that walk through the doors at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, and their families. To get the opportunity to see and hear how they make use of the donations was amazing. For such a small team they do a power of work that is making a big difference.

“We cannot thank them enough for their support throughout our fundraising events, including coming into the office to tell us about the charity which really got everyone engaged from the start. We are extremely grateful to all our staff who were involved in contributing to the fundraising events and also to our clients who have donated generously, particularly to our golf day. It could not be going to a more worthwhile charity.”
