Paradigm is delighted to announce the official opening of its cutting-edge Technology Deployment Centre (TDC), ParaDyce, in Aberdeen, coinciding with the company’s fifteenth anniversary. The launch event took place today, Wednesday, 3rd September, during Offshore Europe Week, one of Europe’s largest energy gatherings. The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting led by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, who expressed his admiration for the facility and Paradigm’s contributions to the industry.
The enhanced Aberdeen premises reflect PARADIGM’s significant investment in innovation, research, and development, aiming to reduce operational costs and the carbon footprint of hydrocarbon production across the sector. ParaDyce will serve as a centre for deploying core technologies and leveraging Paradigm’s extensive patent portfolio in drilling, well intervention, production optimisation, and fire protection.
The Lord Provost remarked, “Wow! I am absolutely blown away by this facility and the work you’re doing to improve the industry so much. I’ve been part of the offshore industry for 50 years now, and had some of your technologies been available back then, it would have been a completely different industry today. What you’re doing is going to keep this industry going.”

The opening was attended by colleagues, industry leaders, and business partners, who enjoyed exclusive demonstrations of Paradigm’s pioneering technologies in drilling optimisation, production enhancement, well intervention, and fire protection. A networking barbeque lunch added to the festivities, making the day a resounding success.
