Aberdeen is gearing up for an unforgettable weekend as the very first Granite City Festival Weekender 2025 takes over Hazlehead Park for three days of music, entertainment, and family fun. From Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 29th, the festival will deliver a diverse lineup catering to fans of house and techno, dance music, and family-friendly activities. With three unique stages and a dedicated VIP area, the event is poised to become the ultimate music experience in the northeast of Scotland, with an estimated 10,000 attendees expected over the weekend.
Friday, June 27th – Cultivate (4 PM – 11 PM | 18+)
Kicking off the Granite City Festival Weekender with Cultivate MACH1, an unmissable night of hard techno at Hazlehead Park. This high-octane event is headlined by the legendary I Hate Models, known for his visceral energy and unrelenting beats, with support from Basswell, Alex Farell, Cloudy, Jezza & Jod, and LESSSS, alongside rising talents ØMENSØUND, Reuben McMahon, Sammy Aberdein, and more.

Saturday, June 28th – Granite City Festival (12 PM – 11 PM | 18+)
Day two of the festival, the Granite City Festival, is dedicated to the biggest dance anthems, running from 12 PM to 11 PM with a high-energy lineup featuring non-stop performances from legendary DJs and live acts. With an explosive mix of iconic tracks, euphoric remixes, and chart-topping anthems, Saturday is designed for dance music lovers who want to experience massive stage productions, state-of-the-art sound systems, and immersive visuals. With the newly announced Billy Gillies joining the lineup, expect the ultimate festival atmosphere as the beats keep pumping and the crowd dances into the summer night.
Sunday, June 29th – Happy Days: The Ultimate Family Festival (11 AM – 6 PM | All Ages)
The Granite City Weekender wraps up with Happy Days, a fun-filled family festival in partnership with GloWorm Festival. Open to all ages, Happy Days will transform Hazlehead Park into a lively space for families to enjoy entertainment, music, and activities for all. From 11 AM to 6 PM, expect family-friendly performances, interactive experiences, games, and plenty of food and drink options that both kids and adults can enjoy. Happy Days will be the perfect way to close out the weekend with a community-centred celebration.
