Plans are well underway for the seventh annual Granite Expo event which will take place at Aberdeen’s DoubleTree by Hilton Aberdeen Treetops on Thursday (October 12th).  The free-to-attend event will once again be created by Granite PR and managed by Business Plus Scotland to provide a platform for companies based in and with links to the North East to exhibit, network, knowledge share and cross sell.

The day regularly attracts a diverse range of more than 100 exhibitors from business organisations representing many sectors which are brought together for the unique, one-day exhibition which ran for the first time in 2011.  In addition will be free seminars and a grand prize draw.

This year’s main sponsor is Barclays and the event will see the introduction of two brand new features, namely an Angus/Dundee Showcase and a Norway Showcase.  Both aim to highlight the vast array of businesses across a myriad of sectors and give opportunity to create or deepen links.

Commenting on plans for 2017, Granite Expo creator and managing director of Granite PR, Brett Jackson added: “From the outset, Granite Expo has attracted an excellent range of businesses from throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to ensure a vibrant and interesting event each year.  The momentum and anticipation which this event has created makes it a significant date on the local business calendar.

“We are delighted to add the Angus/Dundee and Norway Showcases to shine a light on domestic and international neighbours – both lie within an hour’s journey time making them ideal places to do business.”
