Continued growth at Converged Communication Solutions has led the firm to expand its workforce with the appointment of two new staff members.

Recent additions to its service portfolio and a growing customer base have seen the IT company, which has offices in Aberdeen and Inverness, welcome customer service specialist Carolynne Yule, along with project and process developer Murray Duguid to its team.  The newly created posts will support the delivery of the Internet connectivity, telephony, IT support and cyber security services provided by Converged to clients across Scotland.

These latest appointments follow Converged strengthening its cyber security service earlier this year, which saw the recruitment of a chief security officer and the firm gain Certification Body status under the UK government-backed Cyber Essentials programme.  As a result of enhancing its cyber security offering Converged can provide greater assistance to businesses and organisations in combating the growing threat posed by cyber crime.

Carolynne Yule joins Converged as client engagement coordinator.  It is a role that will see her work with clients to understand their entire IT and telephony requirements and support the delivery of these services.  Proficient in client liaison and with a proven track record in relationship management, she has a wealth of administrative and customer service experience, built up in property and office management, and business development roles.

Murray Duguid takes up the position of project manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in project and process management, service delivery and business development roles in the IT, multimedia and e-learning sectors.  At Converged Murray will support operations across the business managing the progress of projects – from enquiry to post-installation evaluation – to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.  He will also use his e-learning background to develop intuitive supporting documents for some of the services that Converged provides.

Neil Christie, managing director of Converged Communication Solutions, said: “Converged has experienced sustained growth over the last few years, with new services, an expanded customer base and opening an office in Inverness.  At Converged, we have always focused on the needs of our customers, it is what we feel sets us apart.   These new roles will help us to continue to do that with renewed energy and fresh ideas.

“Carolynne and Murray have varied career backgrounds and they bring new skills and perspectives to the business, which is exciting.  It is great to welcome them both to the Converged team and I look forward to seeing the valuable contributions they provide in supporting our wide client base and aiding the continued growth of the business.”
