GULFSTREAM Services, Inc. (GSI), an offshore & onshore equipment rental and engineered solutions provider has announced its growth in the US with a new location in Midland, Texas, an expanded facility in Houma, Louisiana and new office space in Houston.
Formed in 1978, GSI has seven locations in the US and one in Aberdeen, Scotland with a global team of 210. New recruits Stanley Gardner and Keith Foley have also joined the company in West Texas and Houston, respectively. Mr Gardner’s role as Sales Representative supports expansion in the Permian and Delaware Basins, while Mr Foley joins with 36 years of experience with Halliburton to focus on GSI’s offshore business.

GSI’s new 60,000 sqft/14-acre facility in Houma, Louisiana supports company growth in the Gulf of Mexico and enables all offshore products and services to be based in one location. With a growing order book and several new customers secured in 2019 for GSI’s offshore services, the Houma expansion has been needed for some time. In West Texas, the new Midland facility supports GSI’s operator and service company customers working in the busiest basin in North America. Initially, GSI will focus on iron recertification and iron rentals.
The US expansion follows GSI’s recent move to a new 8000 sqft workshop in Aberdeen for the production and delivery of its cutting-edge equipment throughout the Eastern Hemisphere. GSI has invested $3,800,000 into its stock of rental equipment available from the Aberdeen base, including shearing and grappling technology to grow its decommissioning product-line for its clients globally.

GSI has locations in Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania and Aberdeen, Scotland and is approved to work for some of the world’s largest petroleum service and exploration companies.
