The events & hospitality team behind Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium, have been named the best in the business at the prestigious Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2017.
Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, who provide catering, hospitality and events management to the venue, received the Matchday Hospitality Awards – Large Stadium honour, and beat off competition from 36 stadia from across the UK to lift the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award.

The prestigious awards recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at football and rugby stadia across the UK and Ireland, and this year judges received their highest number of entries, with 36 venues competing.
Sodexo at Aberdeen Football Club were also praised for their non-matchday services, picking up the Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award. Dundee United Football Club received recognition for its hospitality experience, collecting ‘Bronze’ in the Matchday Hospitality Award – Small Stadium category.

Hampden Park recently unveiled a new suite of event spaces and executive boxes, following a three-month refurbishment. The 26 suites were rebranded as ‘Sky Boxes’, reflecting their envious vantage point over the famous Hampden pitch.
