CURATED in the Quad Christmas Market at Marischal College opens today (Friday 18 November) at 11am, giving shoppers the opportunity to shop handmade gifts and unique pieces of art, jewellery, homeware, and clothing as well as local artisan food and drink.
Following the successful Curated Aberdeen Market in Bon Accord Centre, the Curated in the Quad Market is being organised by Charlie House in partnership with Aberdeen Inspired with 100% of the profits from the stall holder fees going to Charlie House, a local children’s charity that aims to improve the quality of life for babies, children and young people in the north-east of Scotland who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and provide support to their families.

Each weekend (Friday-Sunday) in the run up to Christmas, the market will feature around 25 stallholders with a different line-up of new and established brands, all selling their unique crafts, finds and produce. Charlie House will also have their own stall to sell their charity merchandise.
With the growing trend to shop local and support independent traders, the Quad Christmas Market offers the perfect opportunity to do just that all within one location.
Among this weekend’s stallholders will be; 1323 Jewellery who locally make sterling silver jewellery, Cove Honeybees will be selling locally produced honey and Esker Spirits will have their line-up of craft gin and vodka created locally in Kincardine.
Aberdeen Inspired (Business Improvement District) is supporting the planned festive events in the city centre and promoting the Aberdeen Gift Card, which is accepted in nearly 300 businesses and allows the recipient to choose their own present.

The Curated in the Quad market will run from 11am to 7pm on Fridays, 11am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 6pm on Sundays from tomorrow (Friday November 18) until Sunday December 18. Opening times subject to change.
