Aberdeen’s Charles Michies Pharmacy has announced the launch of its new Health Matters series at its high street branch on 391 Union Street.

The series will include a range of talks, drop-in sessions and workshops to provide people with support and expertise in a diverse range of issues related to both physical and mental health.

The first session is on Tuesday January 14 from 2.30-3.30pm with head pharmacist for Michies, Matthew Hamilton.

Matthew will be giving an overview of the services available through Michies and all the different ways in which pharmacists can offer help and support.

This event is suitable for anyone who might be interested, as well as anyone working in a support role, carers, social care, education, charity and voluntary groups. Come along and find out how Charles Michie Pharmacy can help individuals and communities in your area.

A Charles Michie spokesman said: “For more information, check out the events section of Charles Michies on Facebook or visit the events section of its website at Cafe and Events at Michies – Charles Michies Pharmacy.

Feel free to just pop in by or to book your place via Eventbrite. Talks take place in the café where there is plenty of seating and an opportunity to indulge in lunch or a ‘fine piece’ as well!”
