Situated in Albyn Lane, the state-of-the-art clinic houses a reception, ground floor treatment room and rehabilitation area, a further treatment room and medical room upstairs, with disabled access throughout the ground floor.

“With half of the management team located in Aberdeen, we always wanted to expand our business to operate in the Grampian area; it was simply a case of finding the ideal location.” said Craig McHugh, who is the lead physiotherapist and Chief Clinical Officer.

“The new branch allows us to deliver an extensive range of first-class services for our patients and corporate clients; including physiotherapy, podiatry, acupuncture, occupational health, golf fitness, injury rehabilitation, massage therapy, clinical Pilates, and so much more. Our experienced clinic team includes a fully-registered nurse who is available for all occupational health and medical needs and a physiotherapist whose specialist expertise covers post-surgery and stroke rehabilitation, shoulder and spinal cord injuries, in addition to his wealth of experience in treating paediatric age groups.” Chief Officer of Operations, Nick Sorrie, explains how he sees the clinic developing in the coming months.

He said: “We’ve injected significant investment into converting the building to a modern, patient-orientated healthcare clinic, and we take great pride in its renovation so far.

“Our core values include a focus on social responsibility, developing our business to have a positive relationship with the wider community. We are looking forward to building excellent working relationships with local businesses in Aberdeen city and shire.”

From a regional healthcare perspective, the clinic aims to alleviate pressures on waiting times and chronic conditions explains Healthsure’s Chief Operations Officer, Liam O’Neil: “We’re delighted to be expanding our presence to the Grampian community. This is a significant milestone in our growth strategy, as we continue to increase access to affordable, fast healthcare and support the needs of residents who are currently faced with waiting times of up to 48 weeks.

“The newest Healthsure venture will bring additional job opportunities to the area, and we look forward to working with community leaders to make a real difference.

Particularly exciting is the prospect of the new services that we’ll be introducing to Aberdeen, such as cosmetic acupuncture, for those patients who wish to explore our private service offerings. “
