One of Aberdeenshire’s most historic hotels is gearing up to host a unique showcase of the region’s fashion and lifestyle businesses.
On Friday, August 29th, Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel will throw open its doors for the Taste & Style Fashion Show, an inspiring afternoon dedicated to celebrating the “buy local” ethos. Guests will enjoy a showcase which will highlight the creativity, quality and diversity available on their doorstep during an event which will unite retailers, designers and makers under one roof for an elegant afternoon of style.
The well-known hotel has teamed up with local retail experts Jackie Allen (The JA Consultancy) and Jayne Davidson (Pear Tree Hat Hire) to curate an afternoon of contemporary and preloved collections, artisanal accessories and top-notch food and drink. With stunning landmark Bennachie as its backdrop, the event will feature arrival drinks, food, a fashion show, pop-up shops, raffles and entertainment from singer Billy Main.
From beauty aesthetics to bespoke hats and purses, and from fashion and jewellery to preloved handbags, the 12.30pm to 6pm gathering will bring together an exciting range of businesses to celebrate all they have to offer.
