A new Easter egg hunt is coming to Westhill for local primary school pupils looking for a fun activity during the school holidays.

Cala Homes, which has the nearby Burnland Meadows development, has partnered with local businesses at Westhill Shopping Centre on Old Skene Road, to create an Easter egg hunt for kids in the area.

From 29 March, children can spot all 10 numbered eggs in the windows of the participating businesses, then visit Cala’s Burnland Meadows sales office to receive an Easter egg.

This is the first time Cala will be hosting the Easter egg hunt in Westhill, having originally ran the beloved tradition in Cults for nearly 10-years.

Samantha Leckie, Marketing Manager at Cala Homes (North), said: “Our Easter egg hunt in Cults was introduced to help showcase the wonderful area and amenities on its doorstep and saw hundreds of children take part over the years. We’re thrilled we’ve been able to carry on the tradition in Westhill and hope it becomes just as popular.

“It will be a cracking day out for families, so I would encourage everyone to take part.”

Pupils at Elrick, Westhill and Crombie Primary Schools can take part, and once all eggs have been found, pupils can visit the Burnland Meadows sales office by 11 April, between 10am-3pm, in exchange for a chocolate egg.

The housebuilder will also be making a monetary donation to its catchment school, Elrick Primary School.

Cala’s Burnland Meadows development comprises a selection of spacious, modern homes in a well sought after area, with four- and five-bedroom homes still available. The showhome and sales office are open by appointment Thursday through Monday.
