Andy Grieve, an Aberdeenshire-born businessman has recently unveiled his latest Houston-based G-Tech Innovation Center, a 32,000 sq. ft. workshop and office facility on a seven-acre site which aims to give overseas companies a launch-pad from which they can explore the US market.
The facility in West Greater Houston’s up-and-coming Brookshire area offers short-term leases, from as little as a month, with the option to add space as a company grows. Featuring a combination of office space, and training/conference rooms the new site also houses an attractive and unusual mix of clean workshop space and heavy-duty workshop side by side.
With business support and mentoring also available, the new centre will build on the success of the original G-Tech Innovation Center in the city’s Katy district.
Andy Grieve, who also runs consulting engineering and custom equipment supply company, Hampco, explained: “Although we recently sold our first building in Katy to a client who grew so quickly that they wanted to purchase the facility, we have retained sufficient land on prime frontage for another G-Tech Innovation Center there too. Additionally, we are in the final stages of acquiring our third site in Pearland, one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, on the southern outskirts of Houston.”
