ABERDEENSHIRE-based hydraulics company Micron Eagle has announced a distributor agreement with multinational Danfoss.

The deal with the Danish engineering giant means the Blackburn firm is the only Scottish-based service centre and authorised distributor for Danfoss Power Solutions.

Mark Burnett, Micron Eagle Hydraulics business development director, said: “We’re excited about this agreement with Danfoss. The partnership is a result of our recognised expertise in Danfoss product lines, our ongoing product training to achieve Premier status and our relationships with clients that trust the Danfoss brand.

“As a service centre for these specialist products for more than 25 years, our capability to service and repair products sets us apart from other distributors in the UK power solutions market.”

Established in 1990, Micron Eagle supply, service and repair the majority of hydraulic power transmission equipment solutions such as pumps, motors, valves and ancillary components for the energy, marine, power generation, agriculture and industrial markets.

Successful projects in the past include offshore and onshore turbine starter system upgrades, power generation hydraulic control systems, reel and tensioner control systems, deployment control systems, testing and commissioning scopes of work.
