Brechin-based Hydrus Group is continuing its commitment to developing the next generation of engineering talent, welcoming three new apprentices to begin their careers with the company.
This year’s apprenticeship intake includes Riley Hall, Euan Jones and Rhys Deane, who are joining teams across the business. Riley and Rhys have joined the Fabrication division, while Euan has joined the Test and Assembly department.
The apprenticeship programme gives the three new starters the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional working environment, while continuing their education and working towards external qualifications at college.
At Hydrus Group, supporting young people as they take their first steps into their careers is an important part of the company’s approach to developing its workforce. Apprentices benefit from learning directly from experienced colleagues while building the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful career in engineering.
This year’s intake brings the total number of apprentices supported by Hydrus Group to 10 over the past five years, demonstrating the company’s continued dedication to investing in younger generations and creating opportunities for people to build rewarding careers within the industry.
