Infinity Partnership has won at the British Accountancy Awards for the fourth year in a row – following up on another national award win last week.

The Aberdeen-based accountancy and business advisory firm was named 2018 Independent Firm of the Year (Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England) for the third time in four years at the prestigious awards ceremony in London last night. The firm landed the regional honour last year and in 2015, with managing director Simon Cowie winning Partner of the Year in 2016.

It’s the second national award in a week for Infinity having won Small Practice of the Year at the 2018 Accounting Excellence Awards. Simon Cowie was presented with the trophy on that occasion by TV personality and Countdown co-presenter Rachel Riley. In addition, Infinity has been shortlisted in eight categories at next month’s IRIS Customer Awards in London.

Simon said: “We’re thrilled to have won the British regional award for the third time. A fourth award in a row at the prestigious British Accountancy Awards is a tremendous achievement for the business. Both these latest award wins again recognise the hard work and commitment of the Infinity team.”

The success follows on from Infinity’s seven-figure investment in prestigious offices in the West End of the city in May. Infinity now has a team of 20. It is recognised for its accountancy, research and development tax relief, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance expertise, in particular in the oil and gas sector. Since 2011, Infinity has completed more than 80 merger and acquisition deals worth over £325m.
