Independent engineering firm Infinity has appointed Richard Horne in the newly created Subsea Operations Team Lead position.

Richard has more than 30 years of operations experience gained with Shell, Petrofac, Enquest and Fairfield Energy.

In his new role Richard will lead Infinity’s ongoing subsea operations scopes which includes IRM (inspection, repair and maintenance), engineering, asset and integrity management, project management and decommissioning.

Infinity believe the addition of Richard will enable them to build on the successful projects delivered to date and estimate an additional five engineers will join the subsea operations team in 2019.

Richard Horne, Subsea Operations Team Lead at Infinity said:

“I am delighted to join the team at Infinity.  The reputation of the company has grown over the past number of years and the recent Subsea UK Best Small Company of the Year award was great recognition of the hard work being done here. It’s an exciting time for the business and I look forward to growing the team, further developing Infinity’s subsea operations capability, and building on its strong track record”.
