Aberdeen-based Ingen has been awarded several scopes to deliver subsea engineering, process engineering and offshore commissioning support to an established UKCS operator.

Ingen will provide onshore support during procedure development, offshore readiness and permit to work preparation in support of a range of diving support vessel and well intervention programmes. Key drivers of the project include subsea systems production optimisation, and subsea well performance improvement.

Ingen will also play a vital role in the operational interface management and offshore commissioning activities. It will work closely with the production teams to deliver a seamless interface throughout the marine based scopes. Ingen’s multi-discipline engineers have developed many of the operational interface and commissioning procedures, and some members of the engineering team have already mobilised to oversee operational implementation offshore.

Steve Rolfe, Ingen Subsea Projects Manager explains: “There are benefits to using our offshore-ready engineering team for the entire process, from the early onshore preparations, through to their implementation offshore. Our customer can be confident that our detailed understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the project will help to deliver the scope offshore; from the underpinning philosophy, to the complexities of application. This approach takes many of the problems away from the customer as we minimise the number of interfaces and ultimately deliver a safe, efficient and effective service throughout”.
