THE INVERURIE Locos have announced the appointment of Aberdeen based digital marketing agency Azzurro-Blu as their “Media Partners”.

The decision comes at the end of a successful decade for the club.  It’s also a time of fresh opportunity and challenge for Highland League clubs. Reflecting on its illustrious 117-year history Locos aims to apply a lesson from its past: the need to adapt. In this case, this means adding digital marketing techniques to the work of growing its brand and deepening its fan base.

Azzurro-Blu is well-positioned to enable Locos to meet these goals. The company provides a comprehensive range of digital marketing services and specialises in brand development and activation.

Mike Macaulay, the club’s Chairman since June 2017, commented on the new partnership: “We’re excited to work with Azzurro-Blu and to take advantage of all the services they have to offer, helping us to broaden our digital horizons and to grow our brand.”

Cammy Sim, Azzurro-Blu Operations Director said, “It’s a privilege to have been selected to work as Loco’s Media Partners. We’re delighted to become part of what has been an historic journey and to be working with a brand that’s already established in the NE of Scotland with strong links to community involvement and support”

With their new partnership in place, the Locos are starting the new decade on a high note, something they aim to maintain as they look to their imminent Highland League match against Huntly on the 11th of January.
