A TRUSTED specialist logging partner is set to uplevel its position in the market by announcing significant investment in its Aberdeen headquarters.

READ Cased Hole’s Viking House premises in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don have been the focus of investment totalling more than £250,000 in a move which underlines its commitment to its Aberdeen home.   It is anticipated that the investment will also provide a springboard for growth by opening up new income streams thanks to improved facilities.

By offering world-leading, independent cased hole logging services and value-added technologies, READ Cased Hole works with an expanding global client base of operators and service companies and is instrumental in helping them to meet their cased hole logging requirements.

To date, more than 5,200 wells in 16 countries have been serviced by a specialist team operating from strategically located presence in Houston, Alaska, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Qatar as well as the global headquarters in Aberdeen.

Commenting on the move, READ Cased Hole Managing Director Bruce Melvin, said: “In order to capitalise on the opportunities in our space, it is vital that we are correctly positioned.  The investment in our facility in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don will do exactly that whilst giving us an important central base from which we can fulfil our ambitious growth plans, both at home and overseas.”
