Altium Capital Management, LP is a healthcare-related boutique hedge fund that invests in advanced industry initiatives as well as in medical treatments for progressive health ailments. The firm is located in New York, New York. It was founded by Dr. Jacob Jay Gottlieb, MD, CFA, PRM.

The firm recently released a report advising that the Altium Growth Fund, LP has shown impressive growth numbers. It reported a year to date return of 7.37%, which is based on fund performance from June 2018 through October 2018. The fund was created in June of this year, and its impressive gains thus far are based on the initial 5 month performance of the new fund. Altium Growth Fund is a Delaware limited partnership.

The company was launched in 2017. Jacob Gottlieb is the Chief Executive Officer and the Managing Director of Altium Capital. His brother, Mark Gottlieb CFA, CAIA, serves as the Chief Operating Officer. They put together a staff of experts who excel in their fields of endeavor. The two brothers have said that they have been investing since they were teenagers, and they love what they do. They say that they will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. The firm has already invested in Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Sellas Life Sciences Group, Inc., among others.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Jacob achieved an M.D. at NYU’s School of Medicine in New York City. Jacob’s studies in both economics and medicine combined to create his professional passion for healthcare-related investments. He obtained his CFA (certified financial analyst) training in 2001. Several years later, Jacob Jay Gottlieb obtained the PRM (professional risk manager) designation.
