Hampton by Hotel launched its 155-bedroom hotel near Aberdeen International Airport in February, while a second hotel in Westhill is expected to open in May 2017 providing another 173 bedrooms.

The two hotels, purpose-built at a total cost of £34million and expected to create more than 100 jobs across the two sites, are part of the global Hampton by Hilton family of more than 2,000 hotels worldwide.

Most recently, Anne was group sales manager at the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).

Sandra Brooks, general manager at Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Airport, said: “We’re extremely pleased to welcome Anne to the team and I’m sure her skills, experience and knowledge will be a huge asset to the business as we continue to grow the Hampton by Hilton brand in the local area and further afield.”

Mike Johnstone, general manager at Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Westhill, added: “The Hilton name gives us an extremely solid platform on which to build. We’ve had a very positive response since opening the Aberdeen Airport venue and look forward to building on this early momentum with the much-anticipated arrival of the Westhill hotel.”

Anne Martin, director of sales at Hampton by Hilton, said: “It’s an exciting time with the launch of two new, purpose-built hotels in the Aberdeen area and I’m looking forward to the opportunities this important development brings for both business and leisure customers.”
