“Taking a truly strategic approach to PR, marketing and brand delivers results and we’re thrilled that she has joined our team. We’re looking forward to working with her to give companies an opportunity to combine creativity with solutions-based thinking to set them apart.”

Her appointment comes on the back of new business wins totalling almost £100,000 within the property, subsea, further education and creative sectors.

With a background in graphic design and marketing, Kate is an experienced business development specialist who also holds a BSc (Hons) in Web Design and Development.

She said: “It’s a very exciting time to be joining Korero and add design-driven innovation to the company’s portfolio of expertise.  Deep customer understanding is essential for business growth and sustainability in such a competitive global market.

“Customers want more than just to acquire something, they want to find value and meaning through their experience. Plus, it’s great to be based in Aberdeen at a time when innovation through technology is already introducing new ideas and thought leadership to the Oil and Gas sector”.

Based in Queen’s Road, Korero has experienced a significant period growth since it launched in 2014 and works with clients in Aberdeen, London and Oslo. It was set-up by director Alison Ellis, who has almost 20 years’ experience of working as a journalist, for international PR agencies and in-house for a ‘big six’ energy company.

The company’s strategic approach ensures that all activity is aligned with clients’ core business objectives. From one off projects to fully integrated campaigns.
