Carole joins the firm with more than 35 years’ experience in financial and professional services, and wealth management.
Commenting on her new role, Carole said: “After a particularly challenging year, we’re all looking forward to a more positive 2021.
“The energy sector has taken more than its fair share of blows in recent times, but time-and-again, it’s proved its resilience, and I’m confident our team can play a key role in helping to get it back on its feet, as well as supporting our clients with the ‘Green Recovery’ as they look to pivot and embrace the opportunities that energy transition creates for them and our city’s economy.”
Carole’s appointment comes ahead of an important year for KPMG as it settles into its new home at Marischal Square in the Granite City.
Martin Findlay, KPMG’s office senior partner in Aberdeen, added: “I’m excited to welcome Carole to the team as she already has outstanding connections and relationships within the North-east business community.
“Her appointment means we can really make the most of the opportunities next year creates.
“With COP26 and a raft of UK and Scottish Government climate announcements imminent, the energy sector faces profound challenge, but also great opportunity.”
