It’s a bold celebration of African creativity, culture, and entrepreneurship and its coming to Aberdeen this December at the African Creative Soirée, a landmark event showcasing the talent and innovation of African vendors and creatives across the region.
Organised by Oluwakemi Eseyin, the founder behind Aberdeen’s first African Tradefair which attracted over 300 participants and 17 vendors, the African Creative Soirée aims to promote African artistry, craftsmanship, fashion, food, beauty, design and creative businesses within the North East of Scotland.
Building on previous successful cultural events including a vendor webinar featuring renowned African business coach Paul Foh, the Soirée will bring together vendors, creatives, community members, and local supporters to highlight the growing presence and impact of African entrepreneurship in Aberdeen.
The African Creative Soirée will feature:
- A curated marketplace of African vendors
- Live cultural showcases
- Interactive creative experiences
- Community networking

- Promote cultural diversity within the city
