Well-established North East law firm Raeburn Christie Clark and Wallace (Raeburns) has extended its reach in the region with the opening of a new office in Laurencekirk, signalling its commitment to providing tailored legal and property services to its rural clients.

The new premises are centrally located in the town’s High Street, and will add to the firm’s extensive reach across the area. Its convenient location will serve as an easily accessible base for the firm’s rural clients in Laurencekirk and the surrounding locality. They will share office space with accountancy and advisory firm Scholes Chartered Accountants, who also hold offices in Kirkwall, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The branch will be staffed by Partner, Scott Rennie, and Associate, Sarah Innes, who are currently based at Raeburns’s Stonehaven office. Sarah is experienced in property law and conveyancing, and will continue to build upon the firm’s reputation for having one of the most far-reaching property networks in the region.

Scott has more than a decade of experience in Law, and will further boost the firm’s property service with his knowledge in all aspects of house purchases and sales, as well as private client matters such as wills, trusts and executries. He is also experienced in rural law, including transactions involving farms, agricultural land, woodland and other rural properties.

Covering all areas of legal practice, Raeburns already has a network of local offices in the North East, with branches in Banchory, Ellon, Inverurie and Stonehaven. The firm’s head office in Albyn Place, Aberdeen oversees all operations, while a dedicated property office on the city’s Union Street supports the firm’s property services. Staff from the Raeburns head office regularly travel to the regional offices to provide specialised support.

The new office opened on Monday the 4th of August, and will be open on Mondays and Thursdays.

Commenting on the opening, Raeburns’ Managing Partner, Heather Stephen, said: “We’re really excited about our new branch office in Laurencekirk and what this means for our clients in the area. Committed to delivering exceptional service and advice, ensuring clients achieve the best possible outcomes, Scott and Sarah look forward to meeting clients old and new at the new office.”–
