This year’s keynote speaker – Scottish Tory Leader Ruth Davidson – will address delegates at the prestigious conference, which takes place at Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. The delegates will be invited to attend two out of five seminars held during the half day event, organised by the Aberdeen and Grampian branch of the IoD.

The business leadership seminars will be delivered by Deborah O’Neil, CEO and founder of NovaBiotics; Sarah Malone, Executive Vice President of Trump Golf Scotland; Stuart C McLeod, Managing Director of Delphian Ballistics and Eddie Anderson, Group CEO of ARR Craib.

Chairman of IoD Aberdeen, Mark McCue said: “We are very excited to have such a high profile speaker at this year’s event and expect a fascinating insight into her personal journey as a leader and the challenges she has faced in such a demanding role. The masterclasses, which are led by leaders from very different sectors, will offer practical tips on how to develop and continue to excel in a leadership role. From founding and growing a young business in a challenging economic climate to adapting leadership style when in a senior role for several years – there will be something of interest to all our members.”

The business leadership masterclass will be held on Wednesday, 30 August, 2017 between 8:00 and 14:00 in the Sir Ian Wood Building at Robert Gordon University, Garthdee Road, Aberdeen.
