John Aitken, owner of Lifting Equipment Rentals, says, “Our investment, which will ensure our clients have access to the latest, safest equipment, shows our commitment to a first-class provision for the energy industry and our clients during a continually tough economic climate.”

John continues, “We always strive to supply the best possible kit for each client, with the safety of others always at the forefront of our service offering. We have also chosen to show our continued belief in the energy service sector, not by shirking away and hoping everything comes right, but by continuing to invest in our plant, attaining new accreditations and focussing on a service offering that meets the needs of the current market. By refocusing industry challenges and taking stock of the business, we have put more actions in place to make positive improvements for the whole industry.

“I would urge other organisations to better but use this time to plan, better your processes, market your business and help your clients as much as you can. Showing commitment to our industry and sharing positive news stories shows those outwith the city that the heart of Aberdeen is indeed still beating. Major opportunities do, and will continue to, exist for the Scottish supply chain.”
