The exhibition will run daily from 20 March, 11am to 3pm upstairs at the Coffee House, just off Belmont Street, Aberdeen and will feature an incredible mix of artists and artworks. E

nding with a closing night auction on the 27 March, guests will be able mingle with the artists while enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles as well as the chance to take home any of the wonderful paintings, prints or photographs that will be displayed.

Tickets for the closing night costing £5 are available at the door or by contacting organiser Jennifer Scarlett on [email protected].

Jeni said of the event “I want this exhibition to be a truly exciting and accessible art event for Aberdeen. It has always been important to me that the artists involved, established as well as up and coming students, be able to share their work with a new and receptive public in an open and inclusive manner while maintaining the joy of experiencing art with our celebratory closing night and thrilling auction. It has required hard work but been so rewarding and I am incredibly proud to be a part this fundraiser and hope it benefits the work of Diabetes Scotland.”

Over 26,000 people in Grampian are living with diabetes, a serious condition which can have severe complications including blindness, lower limb amputation, stroke and heart disease if not managed well. As part of Diabetes UK, Diabetes Scotland supports people living with the condition and funds research towards new treatments and a cure which will mean a future without diabetes.
