Following the overwhelming success of its sell-out Boogie Boozy Brunch, local children’s charity Befriend a Child is thrilled to launch a second date for the event, which will take place on Friday 20 March 2026, from 10:30am to 4:00pm at The Marcliffe Hotel. This sparkling new addition gives disco lovers, brunch babes and groovy gals another chance to don their sequins, gather their friends and enjoy a day of delicious food, funky tunes and dancing, all while supporting a vital local cause.

Guests can expect:

  • A delicious two-course brunch with a welcome drink
  • A live DJ set from Northsound 1’s Greigsy, spinning funk, soul and disco classics
  • Funky décor, disco vibes and plenty of Instagram-worthy moments
  • A full day of dining, dancing and dazzling fun, all in support of Befriend a Child’s mission to help children and young people living in difficult life circumstances across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

The Boogie Boozy Brunch launch is part of Befriend a Child’s 50th anniversary year, celebrating half a century of meaningful friendships, positive role models and new opportunities for children and young people. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit local children and young people with all funds directly supporting Befriend a Child’s diverse range of programmes.

Morgan Dunn, Senior Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator at Befriend a Child, said: “We were blown away by the incredible response to our first Boogie Boozy Brunch, which sold out in a matter of weeks. We’re delighted to be able to offer a second date so even more people can join us for a fabulous day of food, funky hits and sparkle, whilst raising vital funds to support the children and young people who need us most.”

Tickets are expected to sell quickly once again, so those keen to attend are encouraged to book today by contacting [email protected].
