AWARD-winning Aberdeen Executive Chef Orry Shand, who leads the kitchen at Entier Ltd, has been named as a finalist for the Craft Guild of Chefs prestigious title of National Chef of the Year.
Orry Shand, who previously received the Scottish Chef of the Year award, is not just a celebrated chef but also serves as the team manager for the Scottish Culinary Team, which recently won two silver medals at the IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart.

The Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef of the Year award stands as one of the most coveted accolades, honouring the innovation and expertise of the nation’s premier chefs. As a finalist, Orry will face off against some of the nation’s finest in the culinary world, alongside 9 other finalists who will showcase their dishes to a panel of distinguished judges, including Chef Patron Matt Abé from Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. A total of forty semi-finalists were reduced to ten finalists, who will prepare their unique dishes on October 8th, all competing for the prestigious title of National Chef of the Year.
