North-East MP Seamus Logan has given his backing to the launch of a new children’s book and soft toy by the MS Society.
This new resource aims to help families talk together about MS, with Tingo, a little toy nerve cell who can help children explore MS from their point of view, understand the science of MS, how people live with it and manage it day to day. The book is free and available to families affected by this condition and also features facts about MS with room for children to draw and write their own thoughts.

Commenting, Seamus Logan MP said:
“This is an important new initiative from the MS Society, borne out of their research which showed that families need some support when it comes to explaining MS to children.
“The book and soft toy called Tingo creates an environment where children can explore the condition, ask questions about it and understand how everyone’s MS story is different. It is a great free resource for my local constituents affected by MS, and I recommend that they reach out and meet Tingo with more details on the society’s website.”
