Aberdeenshire North and Moray East MP Seamus Logan has expressed his delight at Cullen beach being graded as one of the 50 best beaches in Scotland.
Commenting, Seamus Logan MP said:
“I am delighted but not the least bit surprised to hear that the beach at Cullen in my constituency has been graded one of the best 50 beaches in Scotland by SEPA.
“The environmental agency’s Gold Standard Award for Cullen beach’s excellent water quality comes just at the right time as tourists enjoy the summer delights of our beautiful coastline in Banffshire. I hope this accolade means that more people will be attracted to the area, which would give a welcome boost to the local economy.”

Acting Net Zero Secretary Gillian Martin MSP said:
“I am pleased to see a record number of Scotland’s bathing waters rated as ‘excellent’ this year. This is testament to our continued investment in protecting and improving bathing waters across the country and targeted work in priority catchments.
