Macphie, one of the UK’s leading independent food ingredients manufacturer, has appointed a new Head of Operations.
Stuart Harrington joins the Aberdeenshire-based company from Diageo, where he held several roles, most recently as Distillery Manager of the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye.
Originally from Speyside and a graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Stuart is relocating from Skye to the North-east of Scotland with his wife and three children and is looking forward to joining the team.
“Macphie has a great reputation and is achieving fantastic things,” he said.
“Having worked in a production environment for a number of years, I’m looking forward to a new challenge in the food industry.”
