Meet the Buyer North 2023

The Supplier Development Programme will hold the seventh annual Meet the Buyer North event on Wednesday, 11 September, at the Music Hall in Aberdeen.

This free event will provide suppliers an opportunity to learn about upcoming contracts and opportunities in the North of Scotland.

Partnered by the Scottish Government, Scotland Excel, and the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services, this event will allow businesses based in Moray, Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Angus, Highland, Orkney Islands, Western Isles, and Shetland Islands Council areas to connect with public sector buyers in these areas.

Attendees will also have a chance to network with other public sector exhibitors including Crown Commercial Service, Police Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, Moray Council, and Scottish Enterprise, and more.

Several private sector organisations will also be exhibiting on the day, including Aberdeen Airport, Balfour Beatty, Bam Nuttall, Clark Contracts, hub North Scotland, and Vattenfall, to discuss upcoming projects and supply chain opportunities in the North of Scotland.

On the day, suppliers will have the opportunity to listen to presentations on a wide range of procurement topics from the Scottish Government, the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services, the Supplier Development Programme, and others.

With over 300 delegates expected on the day, there is the ideal opportunity to network with other businesses too.
