Falck Safety Services will use, market and sell Mintra Group’s Learning Management System, Training Management System and e-learning courses to Oil & Gas, Offshore and Renewables markets worldwide, and the partners will codevelop new products.

“Falck Safety Services and Mintra Group complement each other, and by joining forces we meet a demand in the market. We have received signals from the market that a strategic alliance like this would be attractive. For Mintra Group’s part this alliance means an opening of new doors to countries where we are not present today, as well as a strengthening of our position in markets where we are already established”, says CEO of Mintra Group, Scott Kerr.

“For Falck Safety Services this alliance is an important element in fast tracking our aspiration of becoming a full-scale safety and competency partner for our customers – locally, regionally and internationally”, says CEO of Falck Safety Services, Torben Harring.

Falck Safety Services’ TMS specialises in the management of training and competence requirements for clients, supporting and improving training and competence levels across the organization – securing that clients workforce is always up to speed and have completed the required training and certifications. Mintra Trainingportal is a flexible Learning Management System (LMS) which includes an extensive Competence Management System (CMS) supported by a world leading suite of e-learning products.

“Mintra Group’s technology is industry leading and already supporting multiple high-volume transactions with customers worldwide. This alliance will allow us to increase the value we add by providing technology advanced solutions that significantly increase efficiency and flexibility in current processes, allowing customers to reduce the total cost of training”, says Managing Director for Falck Safety Services UK, Colin Leyden.

“Mintra Trainingportal has been in the market since 1997. Trainingportal is in everyday use processing more than 500,000 learning events each year. More than 500 companies use Trainingportal on a daily basis. Our main market has been the North Sea, but we have over the last year established ourselves both in Asia and the Middle East. As Falck and Mintra possess different strengths and offer different solutions to the market, this alliance gives our customers added value as they now will get a complete solution, covering all their demands, from one provider”, says Scott Kerr.
