29/09/2023

IN THE coming years, ModuSpec will celebrate 40 years in business, beginning in The Netherlands and delivering their first project in the United Kingdom before growing into a global business operating in every oil & gas basin on land and offshore.

The Middle East and North Africa region played a significant role in ModuSpec’s history with their first project delivered over 25 years ago and contracts today in Egypt, Algeria, UAE and Oman.

ModuSpec, a Vysus Group company, recently announced the award of contracts worth over £1 million and building on that success, are continuing to grow in the MENA region.

The ink is still drying on a contract award to deliver rig inspection services on and offshore Egypt for a National Oil Company, worth £2 million, and on a technical advisory project with an asset owner, worth £500,000.

The growth of ModuSpec in the MENA region has resulted in the creation of four new permanent jobs in the Aberdeen office and aligns with the company’s growth strategy.

Representatives will be at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi next week to meet with clients and engage in the conference.

Mark Watson, Operations Manager with ModuSpec, said: “We are delighted to continue our growth in the Middle East and North Africa region, building on the 500+ onshore and offshore projects we have completed over the past 10 years. Our clients know the ModuSpec brand and our model of collaboration during the rig intake process is well received.

“Recent contract wins of £2.5 million has been the catalyst to create four new roles in our Aberdeen office to ensure we have the capacity to deliver. We look forward to engaging with current and new clients at ADIPEC next month.”
