From rock climbing walls to live cooking demos and music, The Getaway Show is the perfect family day out
More than 70 exhibitors and leading brands will gather at P&J Live from 3-5 October for The Getaway Show, the North-east’s premier caravan, motorhome and outdoor leisure event.
Visitors will be among the first to explore the 2026 season’s models and layouts, released just weeks ago, as well as browse the latest touring accessories, off-grid technology and camping gear, all under one roof.
Designed for everyone from seasoned tourers to first-time adventurers, The Getaway Show makes it easy to compare models side by side, chat to experts and take advantage of exclusive show deals.
Confirmed exhibitors include Aberdeenshire Campervans, ABI Ltd, Baileys of Bristol, BC Motorhomes, Calder Campers, Camperking, Cathargo, Dethleffs, Highland Campervans, Kirkcaldy Caravans, Perthshire Caravans, ROOT EV, Swift Holiday Homes, Thule, Victory Leisure Homes, United British Caravans, Woodland Trust and many more.
The event goes far beyond an exhibition, offering a full day out for the whole family. Van Life Eats will demonstrate how to cook delicious meals on the road from the back of a van, while travel bloggers Highland2Hammocks will share tips for exploring the North East 250 and its must-see stops.
The Holiday Park People will offer practical advice on what to buy and where, with insights into the UK holiday home sector, and CAMpRA will highlight Aires and the year-round facilities available for motorcaravan users. Visitors can also get hands-on at the electric bike track demo area, test-riding the latest e-bikes before planning their next adventure.
A dedicated kids’ zone, complete with a rock climbing wall and soft play area, along with live music, will transform P&J Live into a festival-style space. The Getaway Show is as much about enjoying a great day out as it is about discovering the latest models and gear.
