Leading the night with charisma and charm is our dynamic host, Grant Thomson. Known for his Afternoon Show on Northsound 1, Grant’s energy and enthusiasm will ensure that the evening is as fun as the dances themselves.
No Dancing event is without is very own judging panel, featuring familiar faces and voices and ‘experts’ on all things Dancing, Style and Performance. On the panel are Northsound 1’s Amber Livingstone, Scotland’s most listened to nighttime host; Jeff Diack, one half of Northsound 1 Breakfast Show, Sinead Noble, a local Vlogger and Influencer, and Jamie Smith, Cash for Kids charity manager and choreographer.
Looking to be crowned the first ever Dance for Kids Juniors Champion are Kynley and Lilly, Sam and Abigail and Katie and Grace. These young stars have dedicated themselves to mastering their routines and are ready to dazzle the audience with their performances. The adult competition is set to be just as exhilarating, featuring pairs who have been hard at work perfecting their routines. This year sees Michelle and Sarah, Kelly and Steve and Steph and Colin. Each duo is eager to take the stage and compete for the top prize of Dance for Kids Champion.
Jamie Smith, charity manager, said: “Dance for Kids is a fab-u-lous event and our contestants are all very excited to take to the floor. They have done a great job in training and this will certainly shine through on the night. I am thrilled to be joined by Amber, Jeff & Sinead on the panel and with Grant hosting the evening everyone is set to have a fantastic night.”
Attendees supporting the couples at the event will have the unique opportunity to vote for their favourite pairings, with winners announced at the end of the night.
