SUBSEA services provider N-Sea has been announced winner of the Internationalisation category at the 2020 Offshore Achievement Awards (OAAs).

The accolade, which was announced at a virtual ceremony on 14 August, recognises business growth resulting from successful international and export activity in the offshore energy sector.

N-Sea’s Middle East base saw contract awards for a range of civil, IRM and subsea projects, exceed $15million USD during 2019.

Asa Gamble, N-Sea Middle East managing director, said: “Over the past three years, we have built upon the opportunity to transfer N-Sea’s UKCS expertise to the Middle East, exporting our knowledge and impressive track record into the region.

“Using the same practices and techniques we deploy in the North Sea, we have incorporated our existing capabilities with local content. In doing so, we have combined the exceptional talent available in both regions, along with our technology to create an unrivalled service offering within the ME.”

Roddy James, N-Sea chief operating officer, added: “We are delighted that our efforts and success have gained industry recognition via the OAA Internationalisation Award.”
