Neospace, Aberdeen’s leading flexible workspace hub, is proud to announce the launch of its Winter Golf League, a fundraiser in support of the local charity UCAN. Sponsored by DF Communications, this exciting event invites golf enthusiasts and novices alike to compete in a virtual golf tournament on neospace’s state-of-the-art Trackman Simulator, while raising funds for UCAN’s vital work in the fight against urological cancers.
Running from 29th October to 6th December, the Winter Golf League will feature three rounds of golf on world-renowned courses: Casa De Campo’s Teeth of the Dog, St Andrews Links Old Course, and Lofoten Links. Fantastic prizes will be awarded for the nearest the pin and longest drive in round 3, and overall league winner, courtesy of DF Communications. Participants can play all of their rounds in one session, or spread them out if they wish.

Supporting UCAN’s Lifesaving Work
All funds raised from the event will go towards UCAN’s ongoing mission to raise awareness of urological cancers and improve the lives of those affected. UCAN is working to establish a groundbreaking Swift Urological Response and Evaluation (SURE) Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, a £2.5 million project designed to accelerate diagnosis and treatment for patients across the North of Scotland.
With 1 in 5 men in North Scotland being diagnosed with a urological cancer, and many diagnoses coming too late for effective treatment, UCAN’s work is critical. The SURE Unit will enable patients to receive quicker, more efficient diagnoses, significantly improving outcomes and easing the anxiety and stress that families experience during the waiting period.
