A chartered accountant with over 20 years experience in industry, including the likes of Chevron, Subsea 7, Technip and Apache has set up a new practice.

Neil Yeoman, a graduate of University of Aberdeen and a fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants has launched NKY Consulting which will cover all aspects of Accountancy, Joint Venture Audits and Drilling Accounting.

Neil said “I’m hugely excited to launch NKY Consulting to the market.  Our aim is to support companies that have an appetite for growth and improvement.

“Accountants have considerable opportunities nowadays to pro-actively drive value adding activities for clients, such as business strategy, profit & loss / cash flow monitoring and systems review.  In addition to ensuring that all compliance work is completed timely and accurately.

“Cloud-based accounting applications such as Xero offer huge benefits in terms of business insight, efficiency, flexibility and reward both for the accountant and the client.  As HMRC launch Making Tax Digital (MTD) it’s critical for businesses that they have the systems and software in place to meet compliance requirements.  NKY Consulting aims to be at the forefront in this area both locally and beyond by supporting businesses with Virtual Finance Manager and Director packages.  This will result in immediate cost savings for businesses as they receive specialist accounting services without having to employ a full-time resource.”

In addition NKY Consulting will continue to operate in the niche Drilling Accounting and Joint Venture Auditing markets.
