A new Stagecoach bus service linking Westhill and Aberdeen is scheduled to commence later this month.
The transport operator is rolling out a series of timetable adjustments across its network starting Monday, October 27, which the company claims has been crafted to enhance reliability, timeliness, and connections throughout the north-east.
These modifications, which come after thorough evaluation of customer input and traffic statistics, include the launch of a completely new Service 4 – linking Westhill, Kingswells, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, NESCOL, and the city centre.
After productive discussions with the Westhill Local Community, Stagecoach is introducing Service 4 to run every two hours during non-peak hours between Aberdeen and Westhill Drive through Broad Street, Westburn Road (ARI Turning Circle), Kingswells Park & Ride, and Westhill Tesco.

As part of the network review, various other routes will also see timetable updates, including:
Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire:
- Service 10/M96 – Updated Monday to Saturday evening timetable featuring extra journeys between Aberdeen and Inverurie.
- Services X60/61/X63 – Adjusted evening schedule providing hourly departures from Aberdeen to Peterhead
- Services 61 and 68 running up to every 30 minutes between Aberdeen and Ellon.
- Services 68/X67/X68 – Aberdeen / Ellon / Fraserburgh bus – adjusted evening schedule for better reliability.
- Services 64/64A and 69/69A – Aberdeen / Peterhead – Minor timing tweaks for improved punctuality.
- Service 727 – Updated timetable with more connections to Portlethen and Stonehaven, enhancing access to and from Aberdeen Airport.
Finalised timetables will be accessible from early October at stagecoachbus.com and through the Stagecoach Bus App, where customers can also plan their trips and monitor buses in real time.
