A new Stagecoach bus service linking Westhill and Aberdeen is scheduled to commence later this month.
The transport operator is rolling out a series of timetable adjustments across its network starting Monday, October 27, which the company claims has been crafted to enhance reliability, timeliness, and connections throughout the north-east.
These modifications, which come after thorough evaluation of customer input and traffic statistics, include the launch of a completely new Service 4 – linking Westhill, Kingswells, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, NESCOL, and the city centre.
After productive discussions with the Westhill Local Community, Stagecoach is introducing Service 4 to run every two hours during non-peak hours between Aberdeen and Westhill Drive through Broad Street, Westburn Road (ARI Turning Circle), Kingswells Park & Ride, and Westhill Tesco.
David Beaton, Managing Director for Stagecoach North Scotland, stated: “We’re pleased to introduce Service 4 as part of our latest timetable enhancements across North Scotland.”
“This new connection between Westhill, ARI, NESCOL and Aberdeen city centre will make it easier for people to travel sustainably for work, study or appointments.”
“These improvements are built around feedback from our customers and local stakeholders, ensuring our services remain reliable and reflective of how people are travelling today.”
