MARITIME Developments (MDL) has appointed two business development managers to its Asset Maintenance & Engineering division.
James Farquhar and Shaun Cooper join the company to help bring cost efficiencies to more clients with topsides and onshore facilities requiring equipment maintenance, overhaul and upgrade.

James brings with him more than 30-year experience in hydraulic services and mechanical handling solutions within the oil & gas industry, with previous positions at Hydrasun, Alatas Crane Services and Sparrows Group.
Meanwhile Shaun, an experienced crane support specialist, joins from EnerMech to further boost MDL’s crane servicing expertise. His 25-year career has also included roles at Repsol Sinopec and Sparrows Group.
Dave Gardiner, MDL vice president global, commented: “I am pleased to welcome both James and Shaun onboard. They bring in a wealth of experience, both in securing new work as well as managing and delivering projects that fit well within MDL’s AME capabilities.”
