New chief financial officer for Ithaca Energy

NORTH Sea oil firm Ithaca Energy has appointed David Crawford as its chief financial officer.

Aberdeen-headquartered Ithaca, owned by Israeli firm Delek Group, said in a statement Mr Crawford is taking over the role from his predecessor Graham Forbes, who will be leaving Ithaca, effective from February 1.

Mr Crawford is a chartered accountant with over 34 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and over 15 years’ experience in a CFO role.

For the last three years, Mr Crawford has been the CFO of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited and prior to this was the CFO at Dana Petroleum Ltd and Dolphin Drilling Ltd.
