ENGINEERING company Nucore Group has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Phil Davie as chief operating officer.
With more than 30 years’ experience with tier one and service engineering companies, most recently as senior vice president at Aker Solutions, Phil will take on the responsibility for all group operations.

Speaking about his appointment he said: “Developing and retaining talent is a key priority for me, and investment in our apprenticeship and trainee engineer programme is just one of many initiatives we have in place to ensure the business is sustainable for years to come.”
Mark Fraser, Nucore Group’s chief executive officer, said: “Having come through 2020 strongly, Nucore Group is now executing ambitious growth and diversification plans, both within local and overseas markets, and we see Phil’s appointment as a critical part of this”.
