Local restauranteur Chris Tonner has opened The Courtyard Meeting Space in Aberdeen.

A number of guests attended the official launch to view the new venue which can accommodate up to 20 delegates with a variety of full and half day packages.
The Courtyard Meeting Space was created after Chris identified a need for additional meeting venues in the city centre.
Chris commented “Through various conversations over the last year I realised that finding a decent sized, reasonably priced meeting venue in the town centre was proving a problem for some local businesses. It seemed such a waste to have a room in our restaurant used for stock and so we decided to embark on a refurb.
“We are delighted to be opening The Courtyard Meeting Space and offering companies a refreshing venue which can accommodate a range of events from team meetings and workshops to more formal board meetings and private dinners.”
The launch event featured short presentations from Aberdeen & Grampian’s Chamber of Commerce. Seona Shand, membership network manager said “The Chamber works hard both to connect different organisations and highlight business success.
Both of these aims are highlighted in The Courtyard Meeting Space, with a welcome city centre location that is convenient and cost-effective and an innovative solution to an identified business need. As a Chamber member, we wish The Courtyard every success with the venue, and on a more personal level, I thoroughly enjoyed the event. We will be letting all our other members know about this valuable addition to the city centre.”
The Courtyard Meeting Space will be offering a business support service to all customers to ensure meeting requirements are catered for throughout the day. The award winning team will also be offering a wide selection of dining options from healthy breakfasts to private dinners.
