Ian is currently Managing Director of Banchory based communications firm CFN Solutions and Creative Director at Cairn Creative, a web design company.

Razor Digital Media Founder and Co-Director, Melissa Forrest said, “I’m delighted that Ian has joined the business as a Director. Ian adds a huge amount to the business with a background in technology, key commercial skills and years of experience in running other businesses. Most importantly we share the same vision and passion of using technology to provide effective solutions to our clients. It’s the best part of what we do.”

The company, which supplies digital advertising screens utilising the latest in cloud technology, has secured a diverse client base over the past year and counts an Aberdeen-based business centre, children’s play venues, and social enterprise, Transition Extreme among its customers.  It also operates Your Local List website which is a business directory that has previously been referred to as a local Google.

Forrest and MacIntosh have ambitious growth plans for the future which include further investment in new technologies, growing the partner network of digital screen venues and development of new digital services across both brands.

Speaking of his appointment, Ian said “I have followed this exciting start-up business over the last year or so and when the opportunity arose to join the business, I had no hesitation.  Speaking with Melissa Forrest, it was clear we both had the same values and visions for what would allow Razor Digital Media to grow.”
