Starting a business was always in the long-term plan, but the usual things in life like getting married, starting a family and building a house pushed the plan far into the future and at one point the idea seemed permanently shelved.

Last year however, they realised the girls were growing up and life in general was becoming easier to manage, so talk of starting a business was back on the table. They saw an opportunity to start off a on a small scale and took the plunge. They have never looked back!

Speyside Falconry offers a range of services. Clients can book private flying trips and experience that “bird’s eye view” of the Moray landscape. They can “Meet the Owls” always popular with families and younger children. Families with older children can “Walk with a Hawk”. Anyone with an interest in Falconry can opt to get involved “Behind the scenes”. There are Photographic opportunities for both novice and experienced photographers and camera clubs. They also offer Educational talks and “Meet the Owls” to schools, nurseries and other groups such as scout troops and afterschool clubs.
